2025 FALL LOCAL LEAGUE

WHO:  K-6th Graders. Beginner to Intermediate athletes who want to learn and improve on basic/intermediate skills & game understanding in a team environment.  All practices and games are local with a fun End of Season League Playday.

WHEN: See all schedule options below.  You will have the opportunity to select your practice location during registration.  Dates and Times to be determined.  We share the field with Queens University or rent from Parks and Rec.  As of May 6, 2025 we have not received the field availabliity schedule, but do know we will have space at these facilities below.  Registration is open, so you can save your spot and we will share information about exact times once received.

Expect 8 sessions between September 1 and October 18.  Sessions will include 30 minutes of skill development and end with team game play.  The season will end with our Julie Firr Memorial Tournament on October 18 at Matthews SportsPlex.

Welcome Night - Tuesday, August 26th at The ATTIC (Ambush’s Indoor Training Center).  At the Welcome night you can meet your coaches, pick up your scrimmage pinnie and purchase any equipment needed for the season.

NEW Fall 2025: Partnerships with the JCC & Davidson College! Details about these partnerships coming soon. Registration will run through these partners, but coaching and programming will be run by Ambush coaches.

Required Equipment: Outdoor Field Hockey Stick, Mouthguard, Shinguards, proper footwear (turf shoes or sneakers, molded soccer cleats are NOT recommended for Marion Diehl Adaptive Field and cleats are NOT ALLOWED for play at Bessant Field) adequate water/hydration drinks.
